Premium FreeInvestment company Portman Ridge Finance (NASDAQ:PTMN) said in an SEC filing on Thursday that its name change to BCP Investment is effective after market close on Friday, August 22.On August 25, the company’s shares of common stock will cease to trade under the ticker PTMN, and commence trading as BCIC.PTMN had disclosed the name and ticker change plans, connected to its merger with Logan Ridge Finance (LRFC), on June 17.

As you read this, Portman Ridge Finance (PTMN) is no more. Likewise for its ticker symbol PTMN. In the space of a few weeks two BDCs with the word “Ridge” in their name have left us, including Logan Ridge, whose assets have been subsumed into PTMN, now BCIC.
